2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe Starts from $38,990, 556HP CTS-V Coupe from $62,990

General Motors has just revealed pricing for its all-new 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe and its hotted-up CTS-V Coupe sibling that both go on sale in the United States in early August.
The standard CTS Coupe comes with a 3.6L Direct Injection V6 engine that delivers 304-horsepower and is available with a six-speed automatic or six-speed manual transmission as well as rear-wheel and all-wheel drive.
Pricing, including destination charges, starts from $38,990 for the RWD model and from $40,890 AWD. That's a few thousand dollars less than one of its closest competitors, BMW's 300HP 335i Coupe and xDrive Coupe that start from $42,650 and $44,550 respectively.
Cadillac said that the CTS Coupe will be available in two suspension-tuning levels – 'Performance' with 18-inch wheels and all-season tires and 'Summer Tire Performance' with 19-inch wheels and summer tires.
The Detroit automaker's M3 chaser, the CTS-V Coupe starts from $62,990 including destination charge, meaning it's $4,590 more expensive than the less powerful BMW M3 Coupe (414HP V8) that begins from $58,400.
The CTS-V Coupe is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 pumping out 556HP, which propels the 2+2 coupe from 0-60 mph (96km/h) in 3.9 seconds.
